I recieved a check in the mail to do research for secret shopping. It claimed they would pay me $200.00 dollars to perform 2 tasks. They gave me a customer evaluation survey sheet to fill out to evaluate western union. So I called a gentleman by the name of Jason Bishop he answered his phone and instructed me to cash the check. So i deposited my check. After 2 days the checked cleared into my account. I was then to go to a western union of their choosing and send $920.00 to a Dan Thompson 3001 King Street Hamilton Ontario Canada L3T9B4.I was then told it would cost $ 86.00 to send this money and the total would be $1006.00 of the $1306 that was sent to me. I was then told to spend an additional $100.00 to do some secret shopping at either Wallmart, Bestbuy, Maceys, JC Pennys, Sears or K-Mart. So i then went and completed my tasks and called my group project manager back. He then instructed me to write a small paper explaining my customer service experiences and to fill out the survey for Western Union. I was then to fax the information on which i had to the fax number. I then woke up the next morning to complete my assignment by completeing my fax. Before I left home i went to check the ballance of my account AND GUESS WHAT the money was gone and my account was negative. I then immediatly contacted Mr Bishop. He instructed me to contact my bank. I did this the bank told me the money was returned. I then immediatly contacted Mr Bishop back. He told me he would immediatly take care of this and asked me if this was my contact number i was calling him from. I said yes he then told me he would call me back... guess what he never did... so now i am stuck owing all this money to the bank. If someone could contact me i would be more than happy to catch this criminal... sincerely martin...
