National Access Long Distance
Scam for long distance carrier

Telecommunications

We received a call from somebody addressing themselves as att, stated cross-country carrier on our plan could be changing within days and would increase significantly until we opted to opt for them (allegedly att). They explained the package these were offering and explained the quantity of saving by taking that bundle. Then they moved us to some intended independent confirmation organization to record that we wanted a subscription. We instructed to just answer yes. In this call no name of the carrier was actually mentioned! The we get our phone statement simply to learn it is **not** att, but charged as usbi for national entry long-distance! The resulting statement was much more than we'd been paying and nothing was as represented in the phone call. It is obtained a few months to obtain this straightened out and to have them to stop payment people for services not supplied.
