Lost Phone Claim not being paid

This is the story behind all of this. I cancelled my contract with Vodacom last month, no one notified me that if I cancel my contract it will terminate my insurance as well. I called the call centre number I spoke to Nthabiseng and Mercia and they advised that my contract will not be activated and I will not get a new phone as I recently lost my phone.

This is totally unacceptable because I have been paying my premiums and no one had the courtesy to contact me (either Vodacom or Cellsure) to advise that should I cancel my contract my insurance will also be cancelled.

My last premium was paid in February 25th why was the insurance premium not included?

Shortly while I was on the call I was advised that they will re instate my policy (if I pay my outstanding premium) and then I was notified again after a few minutes that they will not re instate it!

This is not my problem and Vodacom and Cellsure should take the responsibility.

I have not been called as per my request.
