I had gotten a contract in the mail from Waste Management and I did not sign it. I returned it with a note saying I wanted my service cancelled and the dumpster picked up by 9/30. I got a letter from some account rep telling me that the contract I signed 3 years ago had an auto renewal that would take effect if it was not cancelled within 90 days before it was renewal date. Who has the time to look back on a GARBAGE contract to learn about this auto renewal. Also, I am a residence and they have been charging me $125 a month for a commercial account that gets picked up once every weeks. I had already contracted with a local company that picks up every week for $58 a month. W-M is threatening to take me to court to pay the past bill which they keep adding each month to it and a buy out fee. The total the want from me before cancelling my dumpster and picking it up is over $800. Are you kidding me!!!
