I emailed Tanya at Rifle Range Car sales in Rosettenville as I was interested in purchasing a vehicle. Things went on and an application to the bank for finance was submitted. I layed down a deposit, the contract was was online and the link was sms'd to me. Not knowing better I signed the contract online later realising the mistake i made and found the vehicle faulty as well. I requested that the contract be cancelled and they blatantly refused. I was sent to the bank as Tanya said that there's nothing they could do and I'd have to take it up with the bank. I went to the bank and was told that the contract has to be cancelled through the dealership which they still refuse to do. Crux of the matter is, Tanya did not sit down with me and go through the contract with me and discuss the terms and interest rate and also the faults of the vehicle, she just forwarded documentation onto me and pushed for me to sign. She saw the opportunity to make a buck off a young inexperienced young person and took full advantage of this.By law I should be allowed to cancel the deal/contract within 7days but they refuse. These people are not to be trusted and will take advantage to exploit young people.
